Just went to Chaengwattana for my visa Extension based on Marriage

They requested a few things in addition to the requirements listed in the handy summary (attached):

1. Photocopy of ALL pages of Bank Passbook, not only the final page with the current date line item

1. Photocopy of all previous marriage visa extensions in your passport

1. 2 color copies (not 1) of family photos (wife was gently scolded for wearing shorts in the photos and told to avoid it next year ๐Ÿซก)

1. STM2 form - "Acknowledgement of Staying in Thailand" ([members only])

1. Form "Acknowledgement of Overstay Penalty" ([members only])

The appointment system is a godsend! The process only took 15 minutes as a result. [members only]

TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat shared their experience of obtaining a marriage visa extension at Chaengwattana, noting additional required documents such as photocopies of bank passbook pages, previous marriage extensions, color family photos, and specific forms (STM2 and Acknowledgement of Overstay Penalty). They praised the appointment system for its efficiency. Comments suggest that although some forms are mentioned as new, they have been in use previously, indicating stability in requirements over time.

Actually, those acknowledgments and a statement are not new. I/Os have been using those kinds of forms for several years now.

had provided samples in the files section of this group as "3 forms.pdf".

Also to note a new document called "statement"

Wife needs to declare a guarantor on your presence

Just finishing up now

@Tim *******
never heard of that one - is it specific to Chaengwattana immigration?

@Peter ********
couldn't say, it comes as a package with the other documents when you arrive to fill out.

@Tim *******
I would think that is the bank statement? Where you must show how much in the bank ?
Tim ********
@Francis *******
nope, pretty obscure document, it's literally just for wife to fill out as a guarantor of husband and it's called "statement"

@Tim *******
thank you ๐Ÿ™ my wife knows about it she does all the documents I need .
