Just went to Chaengwattana for my visa Extension based on Marriage
They requested a few things in addition to the requirements listed in the handy summary (attached):
1. Photocopy of ALL pages of Bank Passbook, not only the final page with the current date line item
1. Photocopy of all previous marriage visa extensions in your passport
1. 2 color copies (not 1) of family photos (wife was gently scolded for wearing shorts in the photos and told to avoid it next year ๐ซก)
1. STM2 form - "Acknowledgement of Staying in Thailand" ([members only])
1. Form "Acknowledgement of Overstay Penalty" ([members only])
The appointment system is a godsend! The process only took 15 minutes as a result. [members only]

TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat shared their experience of obtaining a marriage visa extension at Chaengwattana, noting additional required documents such as photocopies of bank passbook pages, previous marriage extensions, color family photos, and specific forms (STM2 and Acknowledgement of Overstay Penalty). They praised the appointment system for its efficiency. Comments suggest that although some forms are mentioned as new, they have been in use previously, indicating stability in requirements over time.
Not a thing has changed. I have never have had a problem at Chaengwattana this is always been the same . At lest for the last 10 years I have renewed my marriage visa . My last time was in October of 2022
