How much crap do you have? What can't be bought here? (US style can openers are difficult to find).

Also, customs has never checked my bags. I see some people bring in several HUGE suite cases, not saying they're Indian. I don't think anybody will care if you're bring in used stuff. Its when you try to bring in 12 laptops that things get difficult to explain.

We just had 12 boxes of personal and household effects into Thailand they actually arrived at our villa today.

We were charged duty tax, the only foreigners that don’t get charged is if you have a work permit
