TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, while a degree is not strictly required for a work permit, most jobs available to foreigners do demand a degree or professional certification. For teaching positions, a four-year degree and a related certification are essential. Some individuals may be able to obtain a work permit through sponsorship or by starting a business with adequate capital and staff. It's important to understand the specific requirements of the job you are applying for, as they vary significantly.

If you want to earn better, then definitely yes …cause I have lived and worked in Bangkok for nearly two years in Prudential Assurance Asia

4 Work Permits for 4 volunteer visas with zero degrees.
I have no degree. I have worked for 4 different foundations. I know it's not school related, because most schools and the government do need a degree to get a work permit. But I am saying that you don't need a degree to get a work permit.
Most common job in Thailand for foreigners in Teaching you need a bachelor degree and if you are not a native speaker you’ll need a certificate like tefl or any ( toeic cheapest one ), work permit cost 3200 baht per year, you do not need 10 million

Most jobs that a foreigner would qualify for will require a degree or some sort of professional certification.
Like a dive instructor etc.
So it is not an easy road to work in Thailand.

If you're teaching, the Ministry of Education requires foreign teachers to hold a 4 year degree and you need a letter from the MoE to get a workpermit.
⚠️🛑No but most jobs require a Bachelors here or a degree in a specific area of expertise. You can't get a work permit to work any job you want. The permit needs to be linked to the specific job that hired you. If you are here on work visa and permit. I believe you must leave the country within a week of termination of employment of the specified job you are registered under.⚠️🛑
Company which terminates can apply for more than one week for termination so wp Can be easily transferred to another company... One week is many times not enough
Starting a business is totally possible but it usually requires a lot of money from your pockets for visa, permits, lawyers, and then you will need to think of what kind of business you are wanting to start. I must admit that learning Thai has helped me in a lot of situations but at the end of the day you should think of what's better for you. One piece of advice I can offer is. One of the most important things when it comes to business or legal paperwork in Thailand is, who you know. Cheers

No, you just need a company that will hire you, or with the right capital you ca. start one yourself
This is if you’re going through agency, have own company, and paying everything yourself - not if you will work for someone else. I think it can be much much cheaper to do yourself.
