Just a Sobering thought for those thinking about whether they really need travel Insurance, last Tuesday evening my wife stepped off the kerb in Bkk. Something she has done hundreds of times in the last month. This time she hit a bit of rough bitumen, fell, and broke 2 bones in her ankle. Picked her up from hospital today, we are still to fly home but cost 325,000 bht to date. Convert that into your own currency in $Aud it's $16000 according to my credit card

Dear all, just started looking for expat health insurance here in TH. Not Covid or visa extension related but as a general precaution as am in my late 60s and am already here on Non-O extension. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

Hi 👋 this isn’t visa related but I can’t find anything online so thought I’d try my luck here. I am South African and currently in Thailand. Been here a while and my travel insurance expired in January. Can’t seem to buy insurance because it should be done at home before leaving but I’m here and it expired. Any info or help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
