Hi.

I arrived in Thailand at the end of January on a 60 day tourist visa , extended for another 30 days and then amnesty. I have a Thai son who attends university here , would it be possible for me to extend for another 60 days with a " visit the Thai family extension "

Thank you .

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of extending their stay in Thailand for another 60 days under the 'Visit the Thai Family Extension' due to having a Thai son attending university. The comments suggest checking with the immigration office, and there may be conditions regarding the age of the child for visa extensions.

no - but wait and see the options you have after an official announcement -

Good Question, I see a trip to the immigration office for you to check and see if they'll allow it. I don't know if there is an age cut off (like there is when getting yearly extensions based on raising kids which is 20 y/o)
