Hi everyone, I am looking for some advise, this is a long one. I'm currently on a 90 day single entry visa granted in savannakhet for visiting my children. This visa has already expired and I am now on the amnesty. My question is has anybody had experience with getting the 60 day extension? I wish to extend for the same reason (visiting children) but I am still married but we are currently separated and the children stay with me. As I am still married can I get an extension for this reason or will immigration insist the extension should be through marriage? Cheers
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on obtaining a 60-day extension of stay while on a single entry visa that has expired, and currently under amnesty, specifically for the purpose of visiting their children. Comments indicate that it is possible to obtain the extension based on visiting family, particularly children, regardless of the marital status. However, it is advised to check with the local immigration office regarding specific requirements and the implications of being on amnesty.
