Sooooo. I think immigration messed up. They gave me 60 days on arrival. But I didn't have any visa of any sort... Has this happened to anyone and what should I do? Can I stay until the date stamped? Photo of stamps in the comments below ...

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has raised a concern about receiving a 60-day entry stamp on arrival in Thailand without having a valid visa. They are seeking advice on whether they can stay until the stamped date and how to proceed. Community members advise that this likely indicates a mistake by immigration, as the user should have been granted a 30-day entry due to the expiration of their previous visa. It is recommended that the user visit the local immigration office to correct the stamp to avoid overstaying the allowed period.

Okay your multi-entry tourist visa expired the 28th of July <- meaning you were stamped in WRONG as you didn't have a valid tourist visa when you stamped in. You should have been stamped in for 30 days on a visa exempt entry

You do need to visit the immigration office and get the stamp corrected. You cannot stay the 60 days on that stamp or you'll end up on 30 days overstay.

Believe me you're not the first person stamped in wrong when they enter the country.

Happened to me a few days ago actually, at a Cambodia land crossing. I think they saw an old visa and got confused

Here is a photo of the pages and the stamp. I had a 6 month multiple re-entry Visa but it expired already. So I'm confused. I just came back on November 8th but that gave me untill January 8th. Which is 60 days......

they just picked up the wrong stamp I guees, I had the opposite, gave me 30 not 90. I would only stay on what your entitled to not the mistaken stamp.
