I left Thailand in March to come home for a month, but due to the extended border closure I am not able to get back to Thailand before my work visa and my single re-entry permit expire on June 6. I have also recently decided to not return to the school that employed me and sponsored my work visa / work permit, but I still would like to return to Thailand to seek another job once the borders reopen. I know that my school needs to cancel my work permit, but is there anything I need to do on my end? I surrendered my work permit to my school before I left Thailand just in case something like this happened, though to my knowledge they have not canceled the work permit and work visa yet since I was planning to return to work for them until recently. Thank you!
