TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is inquiring whether their partner and child will need to apply for a visa to enter Thailand, given that their travel tickets indicate a stay exceeding 30 days. The child has a British passport, while the partner holds a Philippines passport and is in the UK on a visa. Comments suggest ensuring proof of onward travel, sufficient funds, and lodging arrangements to avoid immigration issues.

Hang about, I thought you said they are arriving here on the 13th BUT then going to the philippines on the 29th.. <- certainly they have proof of onward travel for that flight right?

they could be asked for proof of funds (40K baht or the equivalent in CASH) proof of onward travel (which they'll have seeing as they're going to the philippines on the 29th) and proof of lodging.

I'd say have your partner be prepared
