I'm planning to come to Thailand end of May from the United states. My question is I'm not going to have a return ticket. But I have purchased a ticket from Bangkok to Vietnam as a ticket leaving thailand.
Do you think that will be okay? Or is immigration going to give me a hard time?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about entering Thailand without a return ticket to the USA but has an onward ticket from Bangkok to Vietnam. Community members confirm that as long as there is evidence of onward travel, typically in any form (such as a ticket), it should not be an issue with Thai immigration. Experiences vary, with some stating immigration has never asked for such proof, while others mention that airlines may inquire before boarding.
Absolutely no issue. You don’t need a return ticket, but you do need a ticket out. Doesn’t matter to where. Doesn’t matter what mode of transport. Prior to Covid a bus ticket out was fine.
