Will be in bangkok under 60days do i need visa or get 30day arrive extend 30day 1900bht
Answer summary
If you plan to stay in Bangkok for under 60 days, you can enter Thailand without a visa under the visa exemption rule, which allows for a 30-day stay. This can be extended for an additional 30 days at an immigration office for 1,900 THB. Alternatively, you could apply for a 60-day tourist visa before traveling, which might save you time and hassle during your trip. Ensure you have proof of onward travel as this may be requested by airlines or immigration.

If you can't be bothered to look at the evisa website or use the search function on this group then you should stay at home as you clearly can't do anything for yourself.
If that’s the case you should check with the airline if they will let you board the plane. Since you have plans to stay 55 days in Thailand and you entre on 30 day visa exemption.
However, you must have a ticket booked for transport out of Thailand within the first 30 days. It can be a train or bus ticket to a neighbouring country, that you just chuck away. Airlines are very likely to ask for this proof and immigration may possibly.
The extension is not guaranteed; it’s at the discretion of the immigration officer. Have you considered what you will do if it’s refused?
MotivatedFrog...they way you ask for help/advice is not very motivated.
For this kind of questioning, which completely lacks any manners, there can really only be one piece of advice: do you own research. Google, Gemini, ChatGPT all of them know the answer.
Ralph Tyson mine neither. And this isn't an English correction group, I recently said that as well.
But nowadays there are so many translation apps and a simple "any help is appreciated" or "thanks" doesn't require extensive English knowledge.
I just find it inappropriate that one 'asks' others for advice and others invest their time in it, and then one doesn't even say 'thank you' at the end of the request.
You don't need to but it makes things easier and cheaper (no need for proof of onward travel within 30 days and no need to get a TM30 and go to Immigration (1, 2, 4 hours?) for an extension costing 1900b, more than the £30 for the 60 day visa (RTE London price)
MotivatedFrog4797 If your going exempt i would suggest asking the airline your flying with if they will allow boarding for a 50 day trip without a visa
