Summary so far
The query is seeking information on the process for obtaining a visa to Thailand from Tunisia, specifically for a honeymoon trip. While comments primarily discuss personal experiences with shipping belongings and customs regulations concerning different visa types (like DTV), they do not provide a concrete answer about the visa application process, indicating a need for more direct information regarding obtaining a tourist visa for this purpose.

The only "visa" I am aware of is if you are on a work permit and you only have 6 months to do it after you arrive
I checked into that before I came over. I had arranged my possessions to a space that would be a commented by a common moving box. I called a number of companies within Chiang Mai who specialized in relocation. after I got done with my conversations with experienced professionals I came to the conclusion that it was a gamble. if I got the wrong person at customs I was going to be paying in some cases more than something cost originally. therefore I compared airlines and found one that would accept boxes I think it was 63 linear inches and 25 kilos for $150 from San Francisco to Chiang Mai. I brought with me seven boxes and sold or gave away everything else I owned when I moved here. caveat to that as I had a tourist visa that had not yet been moved to a nono retirement visa. but if memory serves correct this would not make a gigantic difference in the possible difficulties Good luck!
Unfortunately for you it is difficult. There is no legal free channel on a DTV to import personal belongings. Any shipment into Thailand will be inspected and customs will decide what if any duty you will pay. Their valuation not yours. You may get liucky and you may not on what they decide. You can try & bring it as luggage if small enough, however while rare that too can be inspected and duty applied. Just arriving by plane does not void import duties. It is worth noting, as opposed to popular opinion, high end electrical equipment is no cheaper here than it is in Australia as it is all imported. A quick check on line will show the same model HP laptop a little dearer here, the same Ps5 console maybe $10 cheaper. Yes you can by cheap electronics here but you cannot buy quality electronics cheap.
Shipping personal effects to Thailand is fraught with danger and when Thai Customs see a shipment with a foreigners name attached its quite often a licence to gauge money out of them .
Many years ago I shipped 2 cubic meters but it was shipped in my Thai wifes name and as she had been living abroad for the qualifying period ( 2 years maybe )
there was only a small tax of some kind.
Up to customs to extract as much as possible out of you is the reality of shipping goods here.
Tom Pola no tax paid for thaï citizens coming back to their country after 5 years abroad....we made it twice with around 20 cubic meters each time. Some products are prohibited
I shipped two large boxes with Australia post from Sydney to Bangkok, items were declared as "personal effects" and no customs fees or charges were applied. My visa was not declared or questioned (DTV)
