Hello, I got a non-B visa in May 2021 and it expires in January 2022 as my old passport expires at that date.

I got my new passport. I have a letter from the embassy. I'm going to the immigration to ask them to transfer non-B to my new passport. Will I get non-B till May 2022 in my new passport?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about transferring their non-B visa from an old passport to a new one and whether it would retain its expiration date. Comments suggest that the user might actually have a one-year extension of stay based on employment instead of a non-B visa, indicating that the immigration office would not extend the visa's validity.

LOOK IN YOUR PASSPORT!

You (probably) do not have a Non-B Visa that expires in January 2022. You probably have a one year extension of stay based on employment (BIG difference).

The immigration office will NOT add extra time to your one year extension of stay based on employment.

Your extension of stay expires in January, 2022. If you want to stay in Thailand and work, you will need to acquire a new extension of stay
