I need help. My visa on passport has a stamp of application under consideration (i just renewed again for one year, non-b work visa) but there’s no stamp yet when it will expire. I need to go back for it before 7 May. Will it affect my application for getting a certificate of residency at immigration now? I have an appointment at DLT for driver’s license on 29 April. Thanks on who will answer 🙏🏻

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether having a stamp of 'application under consideration' for their non-B work visa will affect their application for a certificate of residency, especially since they have an upcoming appointment for a driver's license. A commenter suggests that the consideration stamp serves as a valid extension, and it shouldn't impact the certificate of residency application, but advises checking with DLT regarding the driver's license.
Your consideration stamp is your extension until you get your full stamp.
Likely the biggest risk is the DLT not understanding what you have and only giving you a 2 year license. Immigration knows what you have so it shouldn't affect your CoR. I'd probably just reschedule until after the full extension, but you might still get a full 5-year license renewal if you go on the 29th.
