My wife has a Thai passport in her maiden name but her covid certificate is linked to her Australian passport with her married name. Should she try for the Thai pass with her Thai passport and show an Australian Covid certificate because we want to stay for 90 days. I've heard if she uses Australian passport to enter for 30 days she can get an extension for 12 months being a Thai national. Any advice appreciated.

So you didn't apply for a thai pass for her as a thai national yet?

Apply and see what happens, worst case is they'll deny her. Have her upload her thai passport data page, the Aussie passport data page AND the covid proof she should be okay.

If she's denied then reapply for a thai pass with her comin' in as an aussie. You're correct, she can go to the immigration office, show her thai i/d and house book listing and get a year extension based on being a thai who entered on a different nationality for 1900baht.
