Hi, a question about 45-day free entry, please. When we fly and stamp into Thailand after Oct. 1st, we will get 45 days to stay instead of 30 days like before, right? How about when we extend the stay at the immigration office in Thailand, say around the middle of November? Do we then get another 45 days, or only 30 days? Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers entering Thailand after October 1st will receive a 45-day stay instead of the previous 30 days. However, regardless of the initial 45-day entry period, extensions at the immigration office remain limited to a maximum of 30 days for visa exempt entries.
