TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about options for re-entering Thailand after receiving a short visa extension. After a series of visa entries, they faced a 7-day limit on re-entry to Thailand. Responses highlighted strategies such as a 'border bounce' to obtain a new 30-day visa exempt entry, and the option of procuring a tourist visa at a consulate in a nearby country for a 60-day entry.

remember though they can only get TWO 30 day visa exempt entry stamps by land borders in a calendar year Jan 1 - Dec 31. There is no official limit when flying in.

They could also go to a thai consulate in a nearby country and BUY a single entry tourist visa which would stamp them in for 60 days when they enter the country.

They can do a 'border bounce' <- go to a land border, stamp out of thailand, stamp in&out of another country and stamp right back into thailand to get a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp.
