Question about traveling on soft power DTV:

Is there a limit on being able to leave Thailand particularly during your first 6 months on the visa? Because of course you’re supposed to be taking classes but it’s multiple entry?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The soft power DTV visa allows for unlimited multiple entries into Thailand without restrictions. During the first six months, there are no specific limitations on leaving the country, provided you can prove enrollment in a course. Attendance is not actively monitored, encouraging travel within Thailand.

Its fine. They only need proof you are enrolled on a course The course itself is unmonitored. They want to encourage travel within the kingdom and you are not tied down to study like the Ed visa. Come and go as you please
