Hi! I’m currently on a ED visa that will expire on March 17th. Can’t leave the country before April 9th. The question is, can I get a 30 unable to travel extension (covid) proving I get a letter from my embassy and book a flight for April 9th? If yes, Government complex is the right office to do it? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks information about the possibility of obtaining a COVID-related travel extension for their ED visa, which expires on March 17th, given that they cannot leave Thailand until April 9th. Responses indicate that, under current regulations, those on an ED visa are unlikely to be eligible for such an extension and should be prepared for the possibility of a denial.

As your are now on an Ed Visa you are not eligible for a COVID extension.

You can ask...but be prepared to depart when denied.

Highly unlikely. The fact you've had an ed visa rules you out according to the regulations. You can try but be prepared with an alternative for them saying no
