I wanted to get a metv visa for six months but do you think it is a problem to leave and re-enter Thailand every two months with the restrictions that exist in neighboring countries or is it possible not to leave by paying a tax at the immigration office? If it were a problem I can apply for a visa to study the Thai language .. I am not vaccinated. Thanks let me know what you think

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the feasibility of obtaining a METV visa for six months and whether frequent travel (leaving and re-entering every two months) is manageable under current restrictions. They also consider the option of applying for a Thai language study visa if the travel proves problematic. A commenter notes that while borders have reopened, unvaccinated individuals face specific entry requirements, including a negative PCR test or quarantine.
Many land borders are now open again. Leaving and re entering should be fairly easy. You still have to have a ThailandPass to do so. Being unvaccinated means a negative PCR 72 hours prior to arrival or 5 days quarantine. That may well change come June 1st but not official yet.
