Arrived from Ireland on 45 day visa exempt. Will be going to Jomtien for first extension early next week. Does anybody know if jomtien will only give the normal 30 days or will they skip that and give a 60day 'covid' extension instead?
Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus is that when applying for a visa extension in Jomtien, you are likely to be granted a 30-day extension initially, even if you request a 60-day COVID-related extension. It is advised that you ask for the longer extension, as there is a possibility they may grant it, but you will likely need to go through the standard 30-day process first.

I believe they require a person to get a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism before granting a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. You can ask for the 60 day extension; the worse they would say is "no".
