I have a question about my first 90 day report:

Do I have to get it done in the immigration office where I got my Visa? I got my Visa in Buriram, but I live in Bangkok. Do I need to go to Buriram again for my first 90 day report?

TLDR : Answer Summary
For your first 90-day report in Thailand, you are not required to return to the immigration office where you obtained your visa. You should report at the immigration office corresponding to your most recent TM30 filing location, which is typically where you are residing. Since you live in Bangkok and have a recent TM30 filed there, you should complete your 90-day report at the Bangkok immigration office.

Thanks everyone for answering my question! I checked with my landlord, they filled out the TM30. My apartment is in Ekkamai. Which immigration office is the right office for me?

Take a completed tm30 form with you to immigration with your current address when you do your 90 day report. They might go easy on you. That's wat they did for me but I got a lot of finger wagging.

You do your 90 day report at the immigration office that corresponds with your most recent TM30.

Since it's a legal requirement for a TM30 to be filed within 24 hours of your arrival at an address, I'll assume your most recent TM30 is in Bangkok, which means you would use Bangkok.

if you happen to work for a BOI registered corporation then you actually use the immigration office at chumchuri square in Bangkok, not the main office at chaeng Wattana in nonthaburi

if the address of your TM30 where you are staying is in Nonthaburi, then you would use the immigration office in Nonthaburi. I'm not familiar with that area, but most provinces only have 1 immigration office.

If that's only the closest one to you but your address is officially in Bangkok, then you would have to use Chaeng Watthana office. Immigration runs off of province not proximity to the nearest office.

I have no idea what's the address of my TM30 ๐Ÿ˜… I came back through Suvarnabhumi airport. I never filled out a TM30. The address I gave the immigration officer in the airport is in Thong Lo.

the address you gave the airport doesn't mean anything.

Whoever owns where you are staying is legally required to report you staying there within 24 hours of your arrival. That's a TM30. If one hasn't been filed for you then they won't let you do a 90 day report and will likely fine you instead.
