Perhaps a daft question but do I need to 90 day report at the immigration office close to my primary residence or can it be any immigration office? I only ask as I will be traveling and I remember hearing my first report needs to be in person.

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can submit your 90-day report at any immigration office, but it's generally recommended to do so at the office in the province where your latest TM30 is lodged. Alternatively, you can report online from some provinces or send the report by mail to Bangkok. However, you must ensure compliance with local procedures, as requirements can vary by location.

I have done my 90 day report away from home but I got told off for not doing it again when I got back. I think they are better connected now and you can do it on line from anywhere if it works for you.
