A user is seeking guidance on applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand while managing two jobs: one with a US company and another with their own LLC. They express concern about their income's stability due to business slowdowns and mention having over 16,000 USD in savings. Responses highlight the necessity of having a registered business, proof of ongoing income, substantial bank savings (500,000 baht), and clarification about working remotely. You need to have a registered business and proof of ongoing income (paid invoices from clients) for a particular amount for 3-6 months, a letter on letterhead from yourself as the director of the company stating that you have the ability to work remotely in this role &
Yes! I am going to work remote for my company it’s based in US but i can travel and make money with the company i own.. not the company i work for that’s based in the US.. as stated in the post i work 2 Jobs One for a US based company and the other is for myself.. not really sure why irs so complicated when its in the post..
Anonymous participant if you won't work remotely for either company from Thailand you wouldn't add either of them to a DTV application. What am I missing here? To apply for a DTV allowing you to work from inside Thailand you must work remotely. So you have an LLC which is yours and registered to you in the US, if you come to Thailand will you continue to work for that LLC remotely? If so then just say so in your application, show sufficient income via the LLC to be able to support yourself in Thailand along with 500k baht or equivalent in your personal bank account. Write a covering letter explaining why you use an LLC, show you are registered to pay tax somewhere, and give yourself permission to work remotely from Thailand stating you won't work with any Thai entities or clients inside Thailand
