TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibilities of extending their Non-B visa, which is set to expire on May 13, while facing unemployment due to COVID-19. Comments suggest that under normal circumstances, the user would need to leave the country before the visa expiration. However, due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, there may be amnesty rules allowing them to stay longer. It's important to obtain a letter from the employer confirming the termination of employment and to consult immigration for specific guidance regarding the extension and any applicable amnesty considerations.
Your supposed to get a letter from your employer when you leave your company stating your last day and give it to immigration and notify the Dept of Labor as well. Then leave the country within 24 hours and either get new Visa if you wish to return or move on somewhere else outside of Thailand. If you can’t get back home to your country I would think you would be covered under the amnesty rule.
it’s for foreigners on extension. OP is on his first 90days, in normal circumstances he can stay until the date on his entry stamp even he cancels work permit (if he had)
