What Should I Do If My Non-B Visa Is Expiring and I've Lost My Job?

Hello all, so I’m on non-B visa which expires at 05 Aug 2020, however lost my job and my office said wanna terminate my WP and visa at 1 May 2020, would like to know how to proceed as i dont have any flight home until end of May when i check flight. Thanks for the info

that is NOT a Non-B VISA, that is an extension of stay and you need to go cancel it at the immigration office that issued it to you.

Your extension of stay will be made invalid as soon as you leave. You have to cancel that and then under normal circumstances you would apply for a covid19 extension with embassy letter (Immigration still accepting them if you can get it).

If the law passes (which it has not today yet), then you shouldn’t have to do anything (maybe cancel).
