Need some help. I was on a Non-B prior to the COVID crisis, lost the job during covid so i was unable to leave and return in the traditional way (still the case) for a new entry stamp and or new visa and to properly candle the old. I checked in with immigration just prior to the end of amnesty, paid the 1,900 baht and renewed this a few times. For some reason I've not been receiving the 60 days but rather only 30 max and sometimes less at Changwattana in Bangkok. Currently I'm trying to get a Non-B from a new employer but keep having issues depending on what officer I see. My old Non-B has the employers company written above it so it's not able to be transferred to the new employer, and I'm unable to leave and do a visa run and return with the new non b in the traditional way. Immigration said I can change to a tourist visa but the only one I know they are doing now is the STV which can not be changed to a Non-B. I will show you my recent steps post amnesty....not sure why I've not been getting the 60 day stamp and not sure why I've had to pay 1,900 each time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking assistance with their Non-B visa situation in Thailand after losing their job during COVID-19 and facing difficulties in getting the required visa stamp upon renewal. They are currently receiving shorter 30-day extensions instead of the normal 60 days and are unsure why they are being charged 1,900 baht for renewals. The user is also facing complications in transitioning to a new Non-B visa with a new employer as their previous visa is linked to their old employer. They are exploring options with immigration but are concerned about the potential for overstaying.
I had one day over stay because my work was trying to get a new work permit based on my old non b. I kept telling them it wouldn't work but I thought maybe they had an inside guy or something so I didn't complain but they asked me to overstay one day while we get the process completed. It didn't work, I got fined.
