What should I do if the Thai authorities are asking for a work contract between my company and my bank during my DTV application?

Hey,

I applied for a DTV online (chose Frankfurt, Germany as location.)

I have my own company (US LLC) through which I do business.

First, they asked for confirmation that I'm employed by the company and can work remotely even though I already sent this - so I wrote another certificate and sent it again.

Now, they're asking for a working contract between my and my bank???

My assumption is that they either:

* Got something mixed up and need clarification which is the bank and which is my company

* Don't understand that this is my company and technically I don't even need a contract or anything, I can of course work from wherever I want (I sent them tons of documentation of ownership, work history, invoices, remote permission etc.)

I think it's best to send them an email and clear up the situation.

Or am I missing something/doing something wrong?

If you had read previous successful application posts of similar business structure (sole owner) many included a letter on letterhead authorization of the ability to work remotely and specifically in Thailand as well as stating that person is employed by the company. Do that. Also show your incorporation or business registration documents. Good luck

 I have read them and I have attached a contract stating that I’m employed by the company. Also I have attached a specific certificate allowing me to work remotely. Registration documents I also sent. What do you mean by „letter on letterhead authorization“?

Did you send any invoices? Proof of payment from clients?

I had to show the deposits into my bank account with the matching invoice details going back a few months (applied in Taipei)

 when you apply online in Germany you can choose from 3 consulates (Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt)

I chose the Frankfurt one

 that is wrong. You cannt choose. It is based on your registration; you cannt choose Frankfurt living in Mannheim few km away as BW is assigned to Munich. Your application even might be rejected

 I doubt it. I have always applied for visas through Frankfurt in the last couple years. Got them all. How do you know which state is assigned to which consulate?

 haha, it is super duper clear stated there which Bundesländer assigned to which consulate. It is a normal practice if they have more than 1. How else can they divide their responsibility? Based on your personal choice? 🤣🤣🤣

Kajetan Michalewicz actually they do understand very well, and are now starting to deal with those trying to scam the system. Another thing some are asking for now are tax returns, showing you filed, and paid your relevant income taxes, and are not just a new business created for this visa. It will get more restrictive as the months go by, and more scams are detected.

 can you call? i had issues w my application thru new york and i just called and it cleared up what they’re looking for and what i had sent in. faster than uploading a pdf explaining and waiting for a response

 i tried applying as self employed and they gave me a decline so i switched to “soft power” thru a gym so hopefully that’s a good plan B for us self employed/business owner people who get declined

 i’m still at home, my app was fine except my workcation part. my income/business doesn’t count. i contacted the NY embassy on instagram actually they sent a reply really quick. i asked with my active application going, can i submit my documents for the gym via email to the email they sent me. and she said yes so im gonna go for it
