I'm planning to apply for the DTV Visa and I'm currently building my online coaching business.
I’m thinking about setting up an LLC soon — does anyone know if it's still possible to do the DTV if I create an LLC, even though I'm not earning any money yet?
Would love to hear your experiences! Thank you so much 💖

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring about the possibility of applying for a DTV Visa while planning to set up an LLC for their online coaching business, despite not having any income yet. Responses indicate that while there are no strict income requirements for the DTV Visa, applicants must demonstrate a viable business with contracts or a freelance history. Some comments suggest that the DTV Visa may not be sustainable long-term due to potential abuse of the system. It is also noted that business interactions must be outside Thailand, and applicants should prepare substantial documentation regarding their business.
Not really. You can draw up some documents yourself and as long as someone is paying you and you have the 500,000 in the bank you've got a viable business as far as the consulate is concerned.

You can't have any business interactions with Thai entities, clients, etc. the business needs to be registered outside of Thailand. Although there is no income requirements you'll need to show a viable real business with contracts and clients or a history as a freelancer.
I doubt it will be scrapped any time soon, but might eventually be. I can see that. I wouldn't put a date on it though.

The main problem is that so many people are making it obvious that they are not being honest about there intent or reasons for wanting a DTV. Immigration are very aware of this. Peoples attitudes and comments make it seem like it is fine to do it. The post below is literally telling somebody to lie...
