I am planning to go to Taipei in early October and apply for DTV.
I can prepare any period of bank statements that were three months or six months, but the problem is a few weeks ago, I put over 500,000baht in my account.
So if they ask for a month's bank statement, it will be fine but
If they ask for three or six months bank statement over 500000 bath for the whole period,
then I will give up going to Taiwan
I emailed the consulate in Taipei two days ago, but they did not answer exactly how many months of bank statement is needed,
they just answered if the documents are insufficient, they can request additional documents after review.
I'm really confused because I don't know exactly whether the 1 month bank statement over 500000 baht is sufficient or not

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confused about the bank statement requirements for applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Taipei. They have a current balance of over 500,000 baht in their account due to a recent deposit and are unsure if a one-month bank statement proving this balance is sufficient, especially since they have received unclear responses from the consulate regarding the duration of statements required. Comments from others suggest that a one-month statement with a sufficient balance is often accepted, but it's advisable to bring additional documentation just in case.
I think what they are doing, they only want people who do have enough money to survive in Thailand, Thailand does not want people who borrow money from somebody to make it look like they have enough money, then get to Thailand and have financial problems, I’ve seen it countless times over 25 years, people coming to Thailand that are really bad with finances and don’t have enough money, they caused more trouble than they are worth
You are fine with a one month statement with a recent deposit. I have been in touch with Taipei and they confirmed this and I know others with similar confirmation. Bring 6mths just in case, as they are reviewing the number of statements required but no decision made yet
