Hello. I am trying to get my third tourist visa at Savannakhet Royal Thai Consulate. This place for the first time. They asking me for a bank statement, which of course I don't have. What is my options? Thank you.

, I mean no disrespect, but what possessed you to use the Savannakhet consulate when there are HUNDREDS of posts on the inter-web about that consulate wanting to see proof of funds, proof of onward travel and proof of a hotel booking or lodging to issue a tourist visa?

Go to a travel agency there, or do a booking that you can cancel. What you're asking for is how to circumvent the rules and we have a policy that people can't recommend that stuff.

OR you could slog up to to Vientiane where they don't ask for proof of funds :/

you have none. You need to go to an internet shop and access your bank from what ever country you come from and print the balance. It has to be over 20K baht.

They've had that policy for more than a year or so
