Hello everyone! I have a question please.

I have my bank statement issued on 13 Sep (the record dated since 7 months back in Feb) I’m thinking of booking an online appointment to apply for a DTV visa on 30 Sep at the Hanoi Consulate or on 4 Oct at the HCMC the embassy. Would this bank statement work as it’s issued two to three weeks before the visa application date? Thank you!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired whether a bank statement dated 13 September would be suitable for a DTV visa application scheduled for 30 September or 4 October. Responses from the community suggested that the last transaction on the statement should ideally be within the past seven days, and offered alternatives such as obtaining a current statement via online banking or by contacting the bank directly. Additionally, contacting the consulate or embassy for clarification on requirements was recommended.

Just ask your bank to email you a statement on the day or day before your appointment if you can't do it through your online banking app

I'm in the same position, but discovered that my banks (and many other banks) will generate an up-to-date statement, through online banking.

This is a proper pdf statement, current to when you request it.

Phone app may not have the feature, so check full website.

good luck!
