What was the experience of obtaining the DTV visa for a family of four in Vientiane, Laos?
DTV APPROVED
Family of 4 (Main applicant) then 3 dependants
This was in Vientiane Laos. Submitted online on 27th April, paid 28th april. Additional documents required. Interview was 11th May. Approved just after left the building.
I read so many things of people saying make sure you print everything out before going. I took just my laptop with a folder with all documents submitted. And she didnt even want to see any documents, she didnt ask for printed documents.
And do you want to know what else. She didnt even ask to view my banking app on my phone!
She was more interested on my income from my rental properties. (Airbnb) I had to show her the live listing from the app on my phone.
Applied for my 2 kids and husband the same day mine was approved. Paid the next day (12th May) all approved 2 days later without any interview.
This was so straight forward and stress free compared to what I have read. I guess if you supply everything they are asking for and ite correct then you shouldn't have any problem 😉

DVT application procedures vary; in my experience, I had to submit all documents requested by the embassy as JPG files in the application system. The embassy only accepts online visa applications.

They didnt have suspicions or questions regarding your bank account from the document you already uploaded - thats why you were not asked to prove it at the interview.

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.
That's what you should do... print it out.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

To be fair, I believe their fee is including the visa price. And they have a money back guarantee in some cases. Overall, their whole website and business seems much less dodgy than most other agents.James ********
HappyCelery1441 that's 🚫 NOT what we are seeing reports of. Check out the posts of others who have dependent DTV visas. The requirements may and do vary.
