Which countries can someone on an ED visa in Thailand travel to for a Tourist Visa?
My american friend is on ED visa , which country she can go out to get Tourist Visa? Laos open?

Have them contact a visa travel agency. Normally not much more expensive than doing it alone, but way more simple. I'm sure they'll be able to tell your friend the best options.

On an ED visa to what country? Vietnam? Cambodia? No the borders are closed. Unless you fly. Or apparently in a tour group. Which makes no sense at all.

Laos is not open. You must be a part of a tour group to enter.

Flying from Bangkok to phnom phen or Vientiane. Actually to Vientiane is 10 minutes shorter flight.

Cambodia is easiest for a visa at the moment. Evisa for Cambodia and Thai Embassy PP for Tourist visa.

yes. Land borders have been closed since 2020 so only way to Cambodia from Thailand is by flying or she could go to Laos.Aris *********
