TLDR : Answer Summary
Several airlines currently have permissions to operate passenger flights from the UK to Thailand. These include Thai Airways, EVA Air, Emirates, Etihad, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss Air, KLM, Air France, and Cathay Pacific. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, demand for flights is limited, and many airlines may not be regularly flying passengers at this time. Travelers should check with the respective airlines for their flight schedules and also consult local embassy guidelines regarding travel permissions and necessary documentation.

he was not a regular tourist no. He was married a had to right documents

I was only talking about the flight
Spencer *******
@Maya ******
thank you for clearing that up 😊 I only mentioned it because there is so much confusion going around just now.
Maya *******
@Spencer ******
I think I already said Information about it

But yes. And even for him it was not easy

Now how ever he's out of the querntine and free with his. Wife

I. Myself personally live in Finland it's OK to ask visa here. But they demand crazy things I'm not ask for visa
Spencer *******
I’m trying to get back there myself, but I don’t fit the criteria to gain entry at the moment
Maya *******
@Spencer ******
me too

They ask 15 k in bank a application must be 2 month in advance

It's a joke
Spencer *******
@Maya ******
ridiculous. The prices for ASQ alternative state quarantine are very high too. This special tourist visa scheme will only attract super wealthy Chinese and Korean type tourists.
Maya *******
@Spencer ******
I have belief that they will change those rules soon November or so. If they want to save the tourist season. It's already bit late but if it's like this in December then they can forget about tourist. A all small business with tourist will be finally completely bankrupt a finished
Spencer *******
@Maya ******
I’m really hoping so. I’m hoping January we can get back in fairly easily.
Maya *******
@Spencer ******
let's hope some change comes next month

It might be a good idea to wait for a few weeks as there is a plan to reduce the quarantine to 10 days - but this will not be confirmed yet until next month ! 🤷🏼‍♂️

Since September 15th when the STV was announced, the only tourists allowed in have been Chinese. A few hundred are supposed to arrive end of October
Andrew ********
I came in on Emirates this month.
Spencer *******
@Andrew *******
under what conditions? You are married to a Thai National?
Andrew ********
@Spencer ******
non immigrant 'O' based on marriage visa.
Brian *****
@Andrew *******
exactly. As I understand it. No family connection or official reason to go to Thailand.

No visa . Except the new long stay visa.

That is not for uk though as they are on high covid in many parts
Spencer *******
@Andrew *******
thanks for clearing that up man
Brian ********
I’ve heard BA and Emirates
Jaap ************************
ALWAYS check your local countries’ FOREIGN AFFAIRS website before booking or planning, including recent COVID-19 negative tests. Next: check Thaivisa.com website for up-to-date info in all sorts of visa. !!! Nobody guarantees anything, including if you paid for the trip so be very careful what you plan and decide.

Let me know how you get on Trev but it’s almost impossible just now from the Uk. Many airlines fly there but they ain’t carrying any passengers so the flights are all being cancelled. Unless you’re a thai National, you won’t get in
Johanna ********
Well we have had a letter from London Thai Embassy .We cant get in from UK as covid cases high risk .We want to go and see our daughter and family
Spencer *******
Thank you for some clarity. No one seems to know what’s going on. Can’t understand why you can still book flights with emirates from the Uk next week when Uk citizens aren’t even allowed to travel
Derek ********
@Spencer ******
as someone who works in the industry and without getting into the fine details, it’s extremely difficult to travel to Thailand. Most of the flights from where I work are with a handful of passengers but loaded with cargo. That’s the reason you see a lot of “flights” on arrivals screens
David *******
@Spencer ******
that’s rubbish.
Derek ********
@David ******
what exactly is ‘rubbish’?
Spencer *******
@David ******
explain then smart ass

Always one fool that has to give the “ask google” answer.
