Has anyone flown through Singapore (SIN) on any Major airline and transition to Scoot Airlines there to Bangkok (BKK). Like to know your experience with your connection to Scoot, like baggage handling, reconnection to board, any other problems or recommendations, etc. Thank you in advance. "Happy Travels."

TLDR : Answer Summary
Transitioning from a major airline to Scoot Airlines in Singapore can be smooth, especially if you use carry-on baggage. A user noted that before Covid, they were able to obtain a transit pass at a dedicated counter, which allowed them to bypass immigration and go directly to their gate. However, since you're changing airlines, there can be a higher chance of mishandled baggage, making carry-on a safer choice.

I did it before the covid. Just take carry on if it's possible. When you get to Singapore there is a counter that will issue you a transit pass so you can go directly to you gate. So you don't have to go through immigration. B/C you using 2 different airlines there is a higher % they'll screw up your baggage, hence just carry on.
