Hi everyone!

I’m traveling to Penang on Sunday and I’m spanish so I’m supposed to have a medical certificate that says I’m healthy. I arrived here in December when the virus didn’t existe yet so it’s even a bit funny but seems like I should have it.

Do you know where to get it?

Thai hospital is ok or we need to go to the western one? Did somebody get one in the last days?

Thank you so much 🙏🏼

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a Spanish traveler, is seeking information on where to obtain a medical certificate confirming their health status prior to traveling to Penang. They question whether a Thai hospital will suffice or if they need to visit a Western facility. A recent comment mentions that someone received a tourist visa in Penang with a Spanish passport after completing some paperwork, which suggests that travelers from Spain need to provide health documentation.

Leire Ortega Today i ve just got a 60 days tourist visa in penang with a spanish passport. Yesterday i look around for the “announcement” but didnt found it. Apart from the regular paperwork i had to make an statement with my signature explaining which countries i ve visited in the last months and how much time ago i dont step into my country. They also checked the stamps i got lately. Of course cannot guarantee this is gonna be the way for everybody, but this is my case. No agency, did it by myself. Hope it helps 🙏🏼
