Where can I apply for a tourist visa for Thailand and how long does it take for approval?
I’m sorry to ask as I’m sure it’s in the group here somewhere…
Where can I apply for the tourist visa?
How long does it take to get the approval
(typically)?
Anything else I should know?
Thank you 🙏🏼

Answer summary
To apply for a tourist visa for Thailand, you can visit the Thai eVisa website. Eligibility for online application can be checked by entering your location and passport country. The processing time varies; for instance, it can take 2-3 days in London and 10-15 days in Los Angeles. If you are from a Visa Exempt country, you can receive a free 45-day Entry Stamp upon arrival (valid until April 1), which can be extended for an additional 30 days at a local immigration office.

It would be helpful to know the Nationality of the Passport you are traveling under. If you are from one of the Visa Exempt countries, and will be arriving before April 1, you will already get free 45-day Entry Stamp upon arrival. And, then, you if you need additional time, you can extend that another 30 days with TM7 Application at local Immig. Office. So, really no need for Tourist Visa at this time (if, you are Visa Exempt).

Go the thai evisa website here
click the button in the middle that says "Am I eligible to apply online?" and enter your current location and your passport country. That will tell you if you can apply online or if you have to go to a Thai embassy in person. If you can apply online, that's the ONLY way you can apply as those embassies do not allow anyone inside for visas anymore.
How long it takes varies by country. London is known to be 2-3 days. Los Angeles is known to be 10-15 days.

and this gives you an extra 30 days correct? So 45 + 30 + 30?

@Selina ******
A tourist visa will give you 60 + 30 daysIf your passport allows you to enter Visa exempt, you will until

get 45 + 30 days. After

it will revert back to 30 + 30 days. A tourist visa or the exempt stamp, can not be extended more than 1 time.
