Hello everyone. How long does it take to make a tourist visa in Vientiane. I have scheduled an appointment on 14th, and I have to leave in the evening or in the next morning. Is it possible to get it on the same day? Do I need to show them the flight out of Thailand?

As far as I’m aware it’s apply in the morning of day one and then collect in the afternoon of day two. Others will hopefully confirm thats the case for Vientiane

Yes this was the routine for my 13 yrs in and out to vientianne and Savanakhek up until Covid, and now, with a retirement visa I dont need to go. I do miss those little excursions though.
