TLDR : Answer Summary
After entering Thailand with a NON-O visa based on marriage, you and your Thai spouse should visit your local immigration office to obtain the necessary information for applying for a year extension of stay. It's advisable to get the specific list of requirements from your immigration office since they can vary by location. You can typically apply for the extension when you have 30 days or less remaining on your current 90-day entry stamp.

Once you get here, you (and your thai wife) need to GO to the immigration office in your area and get the hand out listing the requirements for you to get a year extension of stay based on marriage to a thai.

This is a general idea of what is required BUT with over 80 immigration offices in the country you should go to yours and get the hand out so you have what they require when you go apply

At most offices you can apply for an extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current 90 day entry stamp

nope, no such thing as a 30 day extension on a 90 day Non-imm visa

You CAN use the 60 day visit family extension once for 1900baht though

shouldn't have a problem with moving the funds from your wife's account to yours, sounds like a workable plan

I don't know of any office that requires the 400K to be from overseas,

only that it's in a bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply for the year extension ๐Ÿ™‚

Did I understand correct: we cannot have 30 days extension on non imm o family visa, but we can only apply a 60 days extension (1900thb) on that kind of visa?

@Helmut ********
correct, on the Non-O visa based on marriage there are 2 extension options, you get a 60 day visit thai family extension OR you get the year extension
