Hi, I'm here on a tourist visa that ends on March 2 wondering when should I apply for an extension. Should it be 2 weeks before the end of the visa? Or is it's ok to apply a few days before the end of the visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is currently in Thailand on a tourist visa expiring on March 2 and is inquiring about the appropriate time frame to apply for a visa extension, questioning whether to do so two weeks prior or within a few days of the visa's expiration.

You can apply for it when you have 30 days or less remaining on your existing "admitted to" stamp (45 days or less remaining for some immigration offices). The 30 days will be added on to your existing "admitted to" stamp.
