Hello, My son (Kindergarten student) is on a 3-month non-ed visa at the moment. We need to get him a 1-year extension. Is it one of the requirements to show proof of funds in a Thai bank account to get the extension? I find different answers on the internet. I'm on a DTV visa, so I don't have a bank account here.
Hello, I need advice or feedback regarding the DTV Visa with families.
Has anyone applied for this visa while “including” family members? Let me explain: my partner (we’re not married) and I are both self-employed, and we would like to move to Thailand with our two-year-old daughter next year. After spending more than seven months here during different trips, we are sure of our decision.
Now, we’re considering possibly hiring an immigration agent for some guidance, but I would also love to hear feedback from this community. Do you think the DTV is the simplest and most suitable option for our case? Since we are not married, would that be an issue for being on the same visa?
Does our daughter need an education visa if she attends school there, or can we simply include her on our visa? I am aware that this visa is very recent, and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
I'm in Bangkok with family. My 8 year old nephew is starting school here. He is from the Uk, on a visa exemption. The school have given him all the registration certifcates and documents. They said it would be easy to get a visa for him, but currently their visa assistant is away. How quickly could we get a visa for my nephew? What is the process like? Help would be appreciated !!!! 😗
My date for extending my Non O Visa based on my children attending school here on an ED visa is coming up. I've already extended for one year and so I've heard that the next extension requires a minimum bank balance of 500k baht deposited for three months.
The money's been there for more than 3 months consistently but there were 2 days where my bank balance was lower than that limit within the last three months as the bank made a mistake in transferring money to a different account because of communication problems.
I am holding a guardian visa for the last five years now, and Feb.23,2018 will be my last visa! Unfortunately, I can't have a guardian visa anymore as my daughter is turning 18 yrs.of age, so this means that I have to look for another option to stay in the Kindom longer. As my daughter is going to University here in Bkk for another four more yrs
