I have a friend living in Phuket and her 2 kids attend school in Phuket.
Her kids are on a ED visa and she is on a guardian visa, multiple entry obtained in Sydney. She couldn’t bounce out in March and their visa expires on July 23.
Can someone please let me know what her options are?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A guardian visa holder in Thailand may have limited options if their visa is about to expire. One possibility is to apply for a yearly extension based on raising foreign children in Thailand, which requires having 500,000 baht in a Thai bank account for 30 days prior to the application. Alternatively, if they are currently under an amnesty, they could wait for government guidance on next steps when the amnesty period ends.
She would need to have 500K baht in a thai bank account in her name only for 30 days before she applies for a yearly extension based on raising foreign children in thailand (that is the only extension available to her)
OR
seeing as she's on amnesty now, sit tight, and wait for the government to tell people on amnesty what they need to do when it runs out.
