What Visa Options Are Available After Visa Amnesty for Collecting Unemployment Benefits in Thailand?

Hi. Hope any of you can provide me of ideas regarding my status.

I am now on visa amnesty after losing my job last April and can stay until 31st of July.

I've worked long enough with my company for 5 years and of course duly paying my social security. I've applied for "lay-off claims" from the government and had already a document to receive my benefits every month from July to December 2020.

My question is, is there a visa/what visa should I take after the amnesty to remain in the kingdom as I of course want to receive my money until December? They require me to report to the Labor Office and SSO every month before releasing.

Thanks a bunch!

Sorry but there is no visa to collect unemployment benefits.

You are covered under Amnesty thru July 31.

so just that? I can stay only until 31st July and maybe just forget about my claims? I perfectly understand there's no official announcement yet of what will happen next after July 31st. So sad that I may just lose the benefits that I should have😥

we do not know nor speculate on what will happen after July 31.

You are on amnesty thru July 31. Provided by the Thai government to allow you time to obtain the correct visa to stay or leave.

Good luck..
