How Can I Renew My Long Term Visa After Expiration Due to Covid-19 Restrictions?

ORIGINAL POSTER
On 15th June, my long term extension based on employment expired.

Normally to extend this, one of the requirements is to show the previous 3 months' social fund payments for 4 Thai staff.

We paid the last social fund money for March. After this all our staff were furloughed under the government scheme, as my business was forced to close due to Covid.

So no social fund payments were made for April, May or June.

We will start to pay the staff social fund payments again in July - because the government payments end in June.

Is there anyway to either:

1. Renew my long term extension (even though it has already expired, but I am on amnesty until the end of July) - on the basis that I still have a work permit, but I won't have social funds records for the staff for the last 3 months.

OR

2. Get a new 3 month non-immigrant B visa from immigration (without leaving the country) - on the basis that my staff

were furloughed?

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about renewing their expired long-term visa extension based on employment despite not meeting social fund payment requirements due to furloughs caused by Covid-19. They ask if they can either renew their expired visa while on amnesty or obtain a new non-immigrant B visa without leaving Thailand.

As the Extension of Stay is expired, not cancelled as the way it should be done, I guess you will face some problems to get this sorted out.

I have no idea how Immigration will handle applications without meeting requirements based on temporary closure of company.

Best advice, visit the Immigration Office and ask what the options are.

I guess you also have to report at the revenue office and the Ministry of Labor that you are back in business.
