Hi Everybody

I was hoping for some advice as I'm getting alot of mixed messages and am not sure the best way forward.

I'm currently on an non-imm b visa which expires the same day as the amnesty (July 31st)

My Thai Wife and I planned to move to China next month as I start my new job there. Currently, China is not letting anyone in and so I wish to remain in Thailand instead of flying back to the UK.

What options do I have in terms of Visa? The two ones I know about are either a marriage Visa or a 60 day family extension visa.

After 60 days can I renew it?

My Chinese school thinks I wont be flying out until October at the earliest so 60 days might not be enough time.

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on visa options after their Non-Imm B visa expires on July 31, coinciding with the end of an amnesty period, as they plan to stay in Thailand longer due to travel restrictions to China. They are considering either a marriage visa or a 60-day family extension visa.

You can apply for a year long, extension of stay based on marriage to a thai if you meet the financial requirements OR wait to see if they announce an extension on the amnesty OR you can apply for the 60 day visit thai family extension ONCE.

Those are your choices.

Go talk to your immigration office to get the hand out for the year extension requirements and the one for the 60 day visit thai family. Then you know what you need to compile to go there for the extension

Thanks

I'm going Mondsy so hopefully will have more of an idea. When you say financial requirements I've heard two scenarios. Either a) 400k or salary of 40k min a month or b) only 400k in your account for 2 months. Have you any insight into which one is correct? Thanks
