Hi! Asking for a friend. Basically, his extension of stay based on employment is being cancelled on Sept. 23, his company is allowing him to stay till Sept. 24, does this mean he's on amnesty after the 23rd or 24th?

Is he eligible to apply for amnesty extension? If yes, CW or MTT? What documents are required? If it is CW, is there an online queue for CW?

Should he apply on 24?

thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's friend is facing a cancellation of his employment-based extension of stay in Thailand on September 23, with the company allowing him to remain until September 24. Key concerns include whether he will be on amnesty after the 23rd or 24th, his eligibility for an amnesty extension (CW or MTT), required documents, and online queuing for the CW process. Suggestions include obtaining a letter from his embassy to apply for a 30-day extension at the local immigration office without online queuing, and exploring the possibility of a 60-day extension if he has ties to Thai family.

Is he married to a thai or has half thai children? He could get a 60 day extension based on visiting thai family if he is

He would get a letter from his embassy and apply for a 30 day extension at C/W and there is no online queuing he would do there. he would just show up.

He goes the date that his extension gets cancelled, AND remember he needs the embassy letter or he won't get the 30 day extension
