Can my friend get another COVID extension visa in Thailand before the deadline?

My friend's vcovid extension visa will end on the 25th. She's been on covid amnesty since 2020. Last Friday, she tried to extend for another one since before they allow to extend a week before but she was told to come back on the 25th itself and gave her extension form with time on the 25th.

This is in Jomtien Immigration. Do you think she'll be able to get another covid extension?

Now as far as WILL she get another one, she should be ready with a plan B in case they say no you've been here long enough and need to go back to where you come from 😮 if they deny here they'll sell her a 7 day get out of thailand stamp that gives her a week to leave.

To help motivate them to give her this next covid extension have her buy an air ticket (or make a booking) going back to her country in about 55 days from the date her current stamp runs out. That shows them that at least she is "planning" to leave (even if it's just pretend)

Same answer that I gave a week ago when an expat first asked...

SIMPLE...Go to Jomtien as directed at 8:30am on the 25th.

And I suspect you are very close to the friend as you likewise have been in Thailand since 2020 on many extensions. No prob...just show up as instructed at 8:30am.

BTW...I have used Jomtien for nearly 20 years...that is their way of handling extensions

Jomtien is one of the few immigration offices that make you come really close to when your current stamp is due.
