Hi, looking to check with you the next information.

Once a ED Visa expired (not cancelled) you be will automatically under amnesty? From there I understand that I have until Sept 26 to present the Embassy letter (that I already have) for the special 30 days extension under consideration.

Are this thoughts correct? Thanks!

No, you have until September 25 to apply for an extension using the embassy letter. September 26 is a Saturday, and all immigration offices are closed.

Great question. I believe the answer is yes. I want Tod to answer the question in the morning though. Remember though, there's only 4 more days to get an extension.
