Hi all, so my work permit, and therefore my extension of stay, expires this coming Friday (the 10th). My school have told me to leave my work permit with them, and they will cancel it on the Monday following its expiry (the 13th) 3 days after it expires. I have a flight out in August (booked before covid). I was planning on doing a border bounce, but this is no longer possible.
Will I automatically be granted amnesty until the 31st of July? Do I need to do anything or go to immigration to cancel my extension of stay on the Friday? I wont have a receipt for a cancelled work permit if I go to immigration on the day everything expires.
